In Hong Kong yesterday, 4 Australian-bred gallopers scored at Sha Tin:
  • 3YO gelding The Prince (Flying Spur-Miss Mocha, by Senor Pete) won over 1000m for trainer Caspar Fownes. The Prince was a $230,000 yearling consigned by Willow Park at the 2009 Magic Millions Premier Sale on the Gold Coast.
  • 8YO gelding Joyful Years (El Moxie-Private Gem, by Pirate Army) won over 1650m for trainer Peter Ho. Joyful Years was a $30,000 weanling consigned by Emirates Park at the 2003 Inglis Victorian June Sale & subsequently a $50,000 yearling consigned by Haunui Farm at the 2004 NZ Bloodstock Premier Sale at Karaka.
  • 4YO gelding Rich Unicorn (Danehill Dancer-Onwards, by Zeditave) won over 1200m at Sha Tin for Australian trainer John Size. Rich Unicorn was a $90,000 yearling consigned by Millbrook Stud at the 2008 Magic Millions Premier Sale on the Gold Coast.
  • 4YO gelding Paganini's Soul (Show A Heart-Magic Bow, by Magic Of Sydney) won over 1400m for Australian trainer John Size. 

In Singapore, 12 Australian-bred gallopers scored at Kranji:
  • 3YO gelding Kennecott (Bradbury's Luck-Hot Copper, by Rory's Jester) won over 1200m for Australian trainer Michael Freedman. Kennecott was a $17,000 yearling at the 2009 Inglis Classic Sale in Sydney.
  • 3YO gelding Zac Influence (Rock Of Gibraltar-Kidman, by Quest For Fame) won over 1400m for Australian trainer Cliff Brown. Zac Influence was a $60,000 yearling at the 2009 Inglis Easter Sale in Sydney.
  • 5YO gelding Sir Rumble (Royal Academy-Tasina, by Thunder Gulch) won over 1400m for Australian trainer Don Baertschiger. Sir Rumble was a $35,000 yearling at the 2007 Magic Millions Premier Sale on the Gold Coast & subsequently a $50,000 2YO at the 2007 Magic Millions Queensland Horses-In-Training Sale.
